As an art educator, I have had the privilege of working with an amazing (and talented) range of elementary and secondary students. Past projects with my younger students have centered around everything from architecture and science-based work (marble runs, Doodle-Bots) to fine art creations (warm vs. cool colors, shadow puppets and magnetic sea creatures). Meanwhile, my older students have used various digital/fine arts techniques to explore such themes as pressure, consumptive culture, media literacy and identity through a contemporary lens.
Please check out some amazing examples of my students’ work.
